As I have said before, the wrinkle is the person has to have been determined to be a danger to self or others. If the psychiatric assessment determines they are not a danger, there is no court order red flag action.

Today's news reports suggest this person has been lying to cover his intent for some time. Persons going into the psych. ward on an involuntary 72-hour hold for evaluation learn very quickly what to say and what not to say to get the desired outcome they want. My point is that in numbers for that the majority of those acting violently lean to the left rather than toward conservativism. Look at the riots, the racism in the Buffalo shooting and in the Waukesha, Wisconsin shooting, etc. We need to address the root causes, start supporting and promoting families with a mother and a father, quit indoctrinating our school children with racism and gender identity garbage, etc.
