New York AG seeks to dissolve NRA in lawsuit accusing leaders of self-dealing, causing $64 million in losses

The Attorney General Letitia James just filed a civil action against the National Rifle Association for violation of nonprofit laws against self dealing. In her action she is asking for full restitution by the four executives, banning the same four executives from ever serving on a NY nonprofit board, and dissolution of the NRA. It's worth noting that the NRA is seperate from the NRA Foundation which is being sued by the AG of DC for similar reasons.

The NRA's greatest accomplishments seem to have been expanding the Second Amendment far beyond the founding fathers' visions--and buying politicians through aggressive lobbying and campaign contributions--and funding chairs at law schools to promote the teaching of their philosophy and groom prospective judges to rule their way.
