Yale University has put up a whole bunch of lectures on YouTube. Some of the evolution-related ones (they've got 36 evolution-related lectures total): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjgHd6HKtvE

They've also got a whole host of other subjects on their YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/YaleCourses

Neat stuff from anyone who has ever wanted to learn about evolution from a University perspective.

Note you guys, that this professor talks about micro- and macro-evolution (I like the way he defines them... a bit different from the usually "within a species, between species" definition). So, lets not hear anymore about how creationists invented the terms. Remember, they didn't make them up, they perverted them.

Yep, we Creationists pervert stuff. :) Too bad evolutionists perverted the church, though.
How did we pervert the church? Or is that just a knee-jerk reaction, where you repeat what I wrote and say "no you did it!?"

I don't have much to say on these videos, though. I certainly can't produce counter-videos. :sorry:
Well, God forbid (literally) you guys actually learn what evolution really is, as opposed to the drivel and lies one finds on "Creation Ministry" websites...right?

Thanks for sharing these. I've finally watched these 4 vids and enjoyed them all. While I knew most of the info, the 3rd and 4th video had a few nuggets I hadn't heard before. When I had my own evolution course, about 1½ year ago I must admit I didn't attend most of the lectures.

I think creationists can benefit alot from watching these, which is why I'm bumping this thread. First of all, because they give a very different picture of evolution than what you find on creationist propaganda sites, and also to show that this stuff is complicated. It's not something you become an expert in after reading a few internet sites.

Peter :)
