• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

    Dear Brothers and Sisters,

What a joy to know the Absolute and Enduring Love of God for us, in sending His Son to save us, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, entering into her womb by the power of the Holy Spirit, that she might become Mother of the Incarnate Word, Jesus! Advent reminds us of His Coming which was promised as well as His Coming that is to Come at the end of Time. I’m posting the Alleluia and The Gospel for this Sunday as well as another portion of St. Louis de Montfort’s Introduction to “True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin.”

Alleluia (Ps 85:8) - “Show us, Lord, Your love; and grant us Your salvation.”

    Gospel (Lk 21:25-28, 34-36)

Jesus said to His disciples: “There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on earth nations will be in dismay, perplexed by the roaring of the sea and the waves. People will die of fright in anticipation of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these signs begin to happen, stand erect and raise your heads because your redemption is at hand. Beware that Your Hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise like a trap. For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth. Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Continuing the Introduction to St. Louis de Montfort’s “True Devotion”, in Paragraph 38 yesterday, I hope you noted this:

"… as the kingdom of Jesus Christ exists primarily in the heart or interior of man, according to the words of the Gospel, “The kingdom of God is within you”, so the kingdom of the Blessed Virgin is principally in the interior of man, that is, in his soul.
So few people today including some among Clergy, Religious and Laity seem to realize this Truth which is so evident to those who have asked and sought from God His Truth; as St. Louis de Montfort did, and who have listened to God’s Word as St. Louis did in his love for Jesus through Mary. Our Interior Life is so very important!

In Paragraph 39 - St. Louis wrote: Secondly, we must conclude that, being necessary to God by a necessity which is called “hypothetical”, (that is, because God so willed it), the Blessed Virgin is all the more necessary for men to attain their final end. Consequently we must not place devotion to her on the same level as devotion to the other saints as if it were merely something optional.

Come Holy Spirit and enlighten our hearts and the heart of all to understand the great Love God has for our Mother Mary and His great Love for us in giving her to be our Mother from His cross.
