  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That's interesting. We can register to vote at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. It would be nice if they put the insurance together with it. But, then that would probably cut down on competitive marketing.

To answer your question, I don't love going to the drive in movies. For a few reasons. In California, where I lived all my life until 3 years ago, they started phasing them out in the 1980's. And the one where I live now, in the midwest, is not any good at all. But, I did love them when I was a kid. Going to the movies in my jammies and being able to play in the playground down front at intermission? Yeah, those were good times. :)

If a presidential candidate was going to campaign at your local high school, would you attend? (Hillary's going to be at my son's high school today. And I would like to go to see and hear what she has to say. But, I don't know if I want to go by myself. I don't like people knowing too much about my personal stuff. )

If I supported the candidate I would try to go.

Do you think there should be a time limit on government give aways or perhaps that people should have to pay back after a certain limit or length of time? (You know like when I go to the bank I have to pay back my loans.)
