Norway seems to have a good handle on the situation. I think it's important to take these strict measures right now.

In the UK we're on lockdown and can only go out for specific reasons, such as: to work (if cannot work from home), medical reasons, essential shopping for yourself or a vulnerable person or for exercise (once a day). There are some other provisions for children and special situations though. Also we cannot meet socially indoors unless part of a support bubble, which is a maximum of two households (I'm not sure if one of them has to be a single person or not). It's a serious situation, but hopefully things will be better in a few months if people stick to the rules, and the vaccines are rolled out.

I hope things go well for you. It sounds as if you will be able to manage with remote working and home schooling.

It's so sad that this virus is everywhere. :(

People talk about the 1918 flu pandemic but my grandfather who was in his teens never mentioned it.

"The number of deaths was estimated to be at least 50 million worldwide with about 675,000 occurring in the United States."
