North Korea says test of ‘super-large’ rocket launcher was final review
SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea said Friday the latest test-firing of its “super-large” multiple rocket launcher was a final review of the weapon’s combat application, a suggestion that the country is preparing to deploy the new weapons system soon.

South Korea’s military earlier said North Korea fired two projectiles, likely from the same “super-large” rocket launcher, on Thursday. It expressed “strong regret” over the launches and urged North Korea to stop escalating tensions.

On Friday, the North’s Korean Central News Agency confirmed the launches were made with the presence of leader Kim Jong Un and other top officials.

“The volley test-fire aimed to finally examine the combat application of the super-large multiple launch rocket system proved the military and technical superiority of the weapon system and its firm reliability,” KCNA said.

It said Kim expressed “great satisfaction” over the results of the test-firing.
huh...anyone think Kim is going to send another "love letter" to President Trump soon?

I consider that large launchers can be harder to conceal and easy to take out with a smart missile or smart bomb. Larger is not necessarily smarter, unless ones have the technology to jam smart weapons or shoot them out of the air.

No one has been able to control North Korea and no Western leader knows how to deal with him. It's the same with China. They have used Western money, technology, talent and natural resources to build an economy that is the equal of any. They are still lagging militarily. That will change. Greed lured the West to make deals with a nation that is way smarter than the west and has no ethical or moral qualms about ripping off Western invention and technology. The West will pay a terrible price for its greed-induced blindness. Australia is no exception. About 40 years ago, there was a joke circulating about a computer that could predict the future. When asked who would be prime minster in 100 years, the answer came back in Chinese. Right now, that seems not nearly so funny. North Korea's backers are - guess who - China.

Probably not with Dems and liberal media continually portraying Trump as a weak president. Boy, will Kim be in for a surprise!
...uhmmm...he is a weak leader and as usual, it's probably going to be another long time US ally that's going to pay the price for his unwillingness to admit he's in way over his head. But, like I said, he's probably going to get another of those letters that made President Trump fall in love with Kim in the first place.
tulc(isn't sure when "pointing out how bad President Trump is at his job" became "portraying President Trump as a weak leader"?)
