Here's a Quote from Flavius Josephus from his work The Antiquities Of The Jews about The Remains Of The Ark being located in Armenia (Modern Day Turkey) (37-100 A.D.)

"Now all the writers of barbarian histories make mention of This Flood, and of This Ark; among whom is Berossus the Chaldean. For when he was describing the circumstances Of The Flood, he goes on thus: "It is said, There Is Still Some Part Of This Ship In Armenia, At The Mountain Of The Cordyaeans; and that some people carry off pieces of the bitumen, which they take away, and use chiefly as amulets, for the averting of mischiefs."--Hieronymus the Egyptian also, who wrote the Phenician antiquities, and Manases, and a great many more, make mention of the same. Nay, Nicholas of Damascus, in his ninety-sixth book, hath a particular relation about them; where he speaks thus: "There is A Great Mountain In Armenia, over Minyas, called Baris, upon which it is reported, that many who fled at the time of The Deluge were saved; and that one who was carried In An Ark, came on shore upon the top of it; and that The Remains Of The Timber were a great while preserved. This might be the man about whom Moses the legislator of the Jews wrote."

- Flavius Josephus

There may be several grains of truth to the flood mythology of Noah and similar mythologies from elsewhere in the ancient Middle East. About 25 years ago it was discovered (" Noah's Flood" by Ryan and Pitman) that in antiquity the Black Sea was a freshwater lake with a water level at least 155 meters (510 feet) below its present level. It was cut off from the Mediterranean Sea by a silt plug in the Straits of Bosporus. This plug broke through about 7600 YBP due primarily to the dramatic rise in sea levels caused by the melting that ended the last ice age.. It created an immense waterfall whose sound was most likely audible for 100 or more miles. The Black Sea basin filled to its present level over a period of several weeks. It is estimated that the shore line advanced at the rate of a mile or more per day. For the people living around the lake it was a catastrophe of immense magnitude. It was likely the single most memorable flood in all of human history. The racial memory of this event probably inspired the Gilgamesh epic which in turn inspired the Noah narrative in the Bible. The evidence for this flood is scientifically solid. This prompted the National Geographic Society to finance an underwater search along the ancient shoreline for evidence of pre-flood human habitation. This search has been successful! A settlement has been found at a depth of 90 meters approximately 12 miles off the coast of Turkey. It is in a remarkable state of preservation because it is located in an area of the Black Sea where the water is completely devoid of oxygen with the effect that biological decomposition does not take place. This means that wooden artifacts such as tools, planks, housing beams etc are preserved intact. What is also quite amazing is that while there is solid scientific evidence for this local flood some 7600 YBP, there is no evidence at all for a worldwide flood just 4300 YBP. One would think that a more recent, more catastrophic event would have wiped out evidence of the earlier Black Sea event. There is also evidence for a similar event causing the flooding of the Gulf of Arabia about 10,000 YBP.

When scripture says the highest mountains were covered, it is referring to the highest mountains locally. Since the Ark had no motor, it basically stayed in one area and only local conditions are documented in the story. No person on the Ark had knowledge of worldwide weather conditions. In heavy weather, we rarely have that today. It can take years to restore phone service to remote areas.

No evidence how about grand canyons all over the world produced very quickly by water over a very short period of time rather that a slow gradual erosion over millions of years. We have fossil trees upside down in layers of rock also all over the world in rock that would be said to have formed over millions of years in the geological column. The Bible says the flood was real and not a myth and Jesus affirms this account. Look up a guy named Ian Juby he does a pretty good job at presenting proof of a global flood all over the earth.

So called polystrate trees are trees buried by repeated flooding or they’re covered by ashfalls . Geologists don’t call them polystrate trees (only creationists do ),because there are several reasons besides these that trees can be found buried upright by layers .

"As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of man. They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all." - Jesus (Lk 17:26-27)

The Grand Canyon layers were formed from the fact that there was once a shallow sea covering that part of the USA . The Western Interior Sea was caused by plate tectonics . One plate pulled the other down enough so that the ocean encroached over the land

Noah's ark may very well be in Turkey. Who knows for sure. I dont trust the guy mentioned in the video. Seen a few things about him that sound alarm bells ringing.

As for the flood, maybe it was 'local'. Maybe God knew that that area was the only area that contained so much evil. Plus, 'The whole world' to people in that day and age meant as far as the eye could see!

The Word of God clearly teaches it was a world wide flood.

Wrong.
The Inspired Word of God does not state locally whatsoever.
The Word of God teaches that it was world wide and so does the ample evidence .

The story was inspired by the events. The events were not relayed from God. The events were retold by the passengers on the Ark. The passengers were not world travelers.

By the inspired Word of God.
And His Word teaches that it was a world wide flood, not locally.
Your opinion friend does not supersede the inspired Word of God , even if one doesn't believe The Word of God (not implying you do not).

Scientific evidence supports a world wide flood.
Geology, paleontology, hydrology, archaeology ect...
All support a Universal flood.

It is possible. If all the locals (who are Muslims, and also believe in the Flood) are saying "yeah, the Ark is over here in Turkey", there's generally no smoke without fire.

Frankly, anything stuck on a mountain that long would probably bear minimal resemblance to a ship, but in aerial shots, it's discernible.

The "Global Humanity" may well have been the local population, so there is nothing wrong with how the story as written. "The whole world" was local to them. As far as God is concerned, ones opinion supersedes everything.

17 If anyone, then,
knows the good they ought to do
and doesn't do it,
it is sin for them.

That passage defines ones opinion, "If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do".
