You'd probably be blond, and be living in a place much like Iraq under Saddam INSANE!
There would be no country of Israel, and you'd be shot dead if they found out you were a Christian.
Just wait a few years. The ACLU is quickly turning our USA into a new Communist Regime. The Republicans are turning liberal, the liberals are turning socialist, and the communists are becoming facists.

As long as the US supplied the British and the Soviets with war material, the war with Germany would still have been won by the allies, the Soviets would still have gobbled up eastern Europe and there would have been little difference in the outcome. If the US had not fought Japan The Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere would have become a reality, no Viet Nam, no Korea, no communist China.

Had the US not fought WWII there would be two fascist Superpowers just a few thousand miles from each of our oceans. The United States is currently trying to keep other Islamofascists from gaining enough power to be a serious danger to the United States and the rest of the world. If you think that fighting now is wrong, just think of what it would have been like had we not fought Germany and Japan.

The 'Rape of Nanking' took place from December 1937 to March 1938, roughly. At the same time it was never a directly sanctioned action. But one that came about in the field due to the fact that the Japanese for all intents and purposes faced a well entrenched insurgency.

At no point did Japan ever entertain the idea of 'conquering' the US. Every asset they had was already commited in East Asia and Japans naval logistics were in the ******* as soon as the war started. By ******* I mean they were short some 2 million tons of shipping per year.

As for you final point. I like my unagi-don.

IF the US stays out of totally, no Lend-Lease, no conflict with Japan at all:

Britain fights hard but is eventually worn down and defeated. Japan violates its non-agression pact with the USSR and invades the Soviet Union from the east, giving Stalin a two front war to fight. The Soviets are beaten, Europe and Africa are ruled by the Nazis, Asia and Australia by Japan. If the US has developed the atomic bomb, we likely just see a different variation of the Cold War.

But then again, who knows. The Brits were/ are very resourceful people. They might manage to hang on and force a stalemate. The Soviets were hard fighters and willing to make whatever sacrifices they had to to win. You can't entirely rule out the allies being able to win without the US. It might be a lot harder and take a lot longer, but the possibility is there.

Hitler had too many flaws in his strategy to win. The nazis had too many nations with plenty of dissent. He would have fallen. The japanese would not have enough manpower to stand against the USSR after China.

The American soldiers were the laughingstock of the entire war. The germans laughed at their poor training, the brits didn't think it would cause much of a difference, and well, they weren't reverred at all. And not for no reason neither. The quality of the American military training was poor at best. Still is in many ways. Your elite soldiers are beaten in most NATO exercises by Norwegian conscripts!
What you do have which makes your military strong is manpower, technology, and that's it. You still lack training.

ofcourse. Your coming here did cause less bloodshed, so I am thankful.
But I would appretiate it if you would get off your high horse, stop believing your propaganda, and for pity's sake stop believing the USA to be perfection on earth.
You did help in WW2, but you've shed so much blood after that. Please, we'd like some(!) humility. And what I would like most of all is your precious nation on trial for the crimes against humanity it has performed throughout the ages. Please. Humility will go a long way though.

Firstly, if the U.S. didn’t enter WW2, they wouldn’t have been able to smuggle out all of those German scientists who were far ahead of the rest of the world. A moon landing by Germans! No U.S. urgency for a nuclear weapon. Imagine if Germany had made them first.

Britain was like a fortress in the 40’s, and also had masses of chemical weapons waiting for a German invasion. So an initial German attack most probably would have failed.

But...

There would have been no D-Day landings so most likely in my opinion either 1 of 2 things would have happened:

1, With less of a threat to Hitler in the West, he would have had no problems taking Russia. He would then had time to rebuild and then if Germany had become the 1st to make Nuclear weapons, Hitler would have taken anywhere he liked.

Or;

2, Russia may still have defeated Hitler, but the Russians would then have taken the whole of mainland Europe. And they’d have got the German scientists.

I think it was a calculated decision by the Americans to wait and enter the war as late as possible to take the spoils. The U.S. knew the only way out of it’s economic crisis (just as Hitler knew in Germany) was war. Our (U.K) Labour government often boasts that after WW2 they were the only U.K. government to gain full employment, but the reality is that this was a direct result of so many dead.

I think the Soviets would definitely have beaten Hitler. They were already turning the tide before America showed up on the scene. Remember...the German's had already been stopped in front of Moscow and the meat grinder of Stalingrad was well under way by the time of the Pearl Harbor attack. The big question would have been whether the British could have gotten back onto the continent before the Soviets grabbed everything up. I think that would have been doubtful.

Without American intervention, the Japanese would have had a free hand spreading south and consolidating their hold on parts of China. There were groups that wanted to attack China (er...uh...I meant Russia!-ed.) , but the Soviets had already badly beaten the Japanese once in northern China. I don't think a Japanese attack on the Soviet Union was realistic any time soon.

Remember though that in Stalingrad, Hitler was fighting the war on too many fronts. If the allied threat from the West had not been there, I think he'd have broken through. But even if not, the German forces wouldn't have been so stretched so Stalin wouldn't have got to Berlin so easily.

I don't think Britain would have tired to invade Hitler's Europe without America. Hitler was constantly trying to make peace with Britain, saying if we let him have a free hand in Europe, we could keep our Empire (of course, just like with everyone else, he would have double-crossed us when the time came).

The British scuppered Hitler's atomic research and testing. And the Allies kept bombing is V2 rocket testing. Imagine if he'd made them unopposed. Remember there would have been no urgency in the U.S.

If the US had remained a non-combatant but supplied the Allies with war materials then the Russians may still have managed a win. However without a realistic threat of a second front which could not have happend without the USA, the Germans in my opinion would have destroyed Russia eventually. Then Germany could sweep away any British troops in North Africa, Iraq, persia and india and Without other resources the UK could not have stopped a determined german attempt at invasion or blockade.

I don't think we would have gone down without fighting. It would just changed to fighting on our soil, instead of in the Pacific. We probably would have won after a great deal of fighting on our turf, something our country could never have overcome, I'm sure.
