There's definitely a lot of hoaxes, but there's nothing scriptural about God ending miracles. He never said he would do that. Just because the canon of narratives ends at Acts doesn't mean God does.

Two can not walk together unless they agree. If He who walks with us says, "and greater things than this will you do" how can we then, not agree. To stiffle the faith we have been given, is not from above, but from below. Believe little children, and nothing will be impossible unto you.

I came cross a second hand rather fascinating book I picked up at a Bible Thrift shop called "Healing Through The Centuries" (Ronald Kydd) It actually explores what is on record about the subject of healing or miracles say in the first 400 years of Christianity and after. It's quite interesting and some might be quite surprised at what took place, or claimed to have taken place in those early times but after the Book of Acts. One nugget if say around 150 AD if the prevailing thought was when the last Apostle died all the miraculous ended (John it's speculated died in the AD 90's ) well the Christians say 50 years later would have spoken about such clearly. The fact is they never did and there was a miraculous mentality still thought of as being valid.
