Here's an amusing one. Have you ever seen the movie, Navajo Blues? It's an amazingly stupid movie, but one of my favorite moments is when a police officer from Las Vegas decides to go to Window Rock, AZ, which is 30 miles from Gallup New Mexico. He does it by flying out to Yuma, so a Navajo police officer can quick drive over and pick him up. Shouldn't take much knowledge of the region to tell just how dumb that little plot twist was.
