I don't really understand NFL rules for when an OT game just goes ahead and ends in a Tie -- but Steelers and Browns had one -- 21-21.

I think Jets-Raiders way back in Joe Namath days had the famous "Heidi game" -- a long-lasting game whose broadcast was CUT OFF before game's finish so the network could show HEIDI on sunday evening

NBC's late sunday evening snafu - broadcast of the game suddenly ENDED so NBC could air HEIDI - Raiders came back and beat Jets after they were off of TV; fans were furious

Oh - this monday night game tonight is JETS vs LIONS ! I thought it strange that TWO mnf games would be on...

anyway, I enjoyed re-living the HEIDI game between Jets and Raiders

oh - again! I finally realize -- DOUBLE HEADER tonight - Rams and Raiders play after this current game, which Jets now lead 24-17 early in 2nd half over Detroit...

Good! More football!

After tonight, we will somehow make it to THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL -- then a weekend of high school and college games then Sunday more NFL games -- Tues and wed are usually the only days that do NOT have football games.

Anto, Seems like they've been doing this for a couple years now. Two Monday night games for Week 1. First game in eastern time zone, then a late West Coast game.
I guess when Monday Night football was still on network TV, network didn't have 7 hours on their night schedule for football.
