And if it goes downhill with people starving and violent then everyone and their aunt including the looters having guns and using them is somehow better ?

Or is the idea here that righteous guy with a gun will beat a bad looter with a gun ? The bullets really do not care....

Guns don't kill people. People kill people, and not only with guns.

I agree with you. People can be sensible gun owners and use guns in the way they were meant to be used. I was bought up that way as is my son. Hes wanting to get his first gun and he will be a sensible and repsonsible gun user.
