New York EMTs tell what it's like now

New York Rockland county (not far north of NYC) Emergency Medical Technicians (the 'EMTs' that arrive with the ambulance) tell what it is like right now --

Chilling. It is easy (and true) to call these men heroes. It's apparently much harder to treat them accordingly.

This explains why we are hearing ambulances and their sirens all day long and all night long.

It's hard for me to accept that paid First Responders aren't offered group healthcare insurance by their employers, that shouldn't even be an issue for them to have to deal with.
