Given that all these "bad people" are already Trump political appointees, what does this say about his promise to attract only the "best people" after more than 3 years into his term?

Moles make mole hills, and nice little tunnels connecting them. FISA works for the President as well... just sayin. Say something exclusively to one group, see where the tunnel leads ya. Keep narrowing down, and soon you have the moles.

why would they demean themselves by working for a President whom they neither trust nor respect?

That, is a very astute question.

Because they are not working for the President personally, they are working for the United States under the office of the President. If you had a good job, one which you thought was important, would you quit just because the person temporarily in charge was a jerk?

At least Obama had the class to respect freedom of speech amongst colleagues he not only disagreed with, but people that did nothing but seek to undermine him and spread conspiracies.

There's something seriously wrong with somebody who thinks this is a good way to run a workplace.
Such is the mind of a demagogue ... who believes that he can never be wrong ...

Stalinesque purge.
Even for you to post this demonstrates how absolutely beyond extreme Trump opposers are willing to go to create a delusional narrative. Stalineque? Really? Stalin had over a million rounded up and killed. You can't tell the difference between merely being released from their positions of employment and encouraging them to find work elsewhere as compared to slaughtering a populace?

Stalin, Stalin, Stalin. Big whoop! Stalin was a big nobody that happened to get into some pictures with Lenin that made it look like they were pals. Stalin was not the post popular choice to succeed Lenin, he never served in the Armed Forces, purged government officials, used or changed the laws to benefit him, set up a cult of personality, and put unqualified people into important positions in the government just because they were loyal to him. His defenders would lend credence to whatever he said, no matter how ridiculous it was. Once these people he installed found out what kind of a nut job he was, they turned on him and they were fired. He claimed to be smart but Lenin thought him as an idiot or of low intelligence. He had a funny voice, mispronounced common words, enjoyed talking about things he had no idea about, was self-conscious of his appearance, and had tiny hands.

Clearly the attempt to paint President Trump’s draining of the swamp as some sort of Stalinesque purge is just another failing attempt that proves the Democrats can’t beat Trump in 2020.
And yet ... despite this, ... Stalin was responsible for policies that resulted in the deaths of 10's of millions of people under his rule.

The only useful idiot (as you fancy them) ... to outdo Stalin in this regard was Mao ...

Not really we are talking about perhaps firing but not firing squads. Those will have to wait for when the socialists to take over.
Which Socialist nations do you know of which employed "firing squads" ???

Is it safe to assume that anyone who denies, disagrees, or defies Donald will be considered a bad person from the Deep State and be subsequently purged?
Yes ... as it is, the only pertinent issue is power ...

If you can't work for Donald Trump, wouldn't the honorable thing to do be to simply resign?
The federal government doesn't work for Donald Trump. They work for us.

As such, their careers can span administrations ...

I say get rid of those who have not only not pulled their weight, but have done nothing but work against those who have...it only makes sense. I mean, if he's smart, and he is, why would he not do that?
Well ... he's not smart, ... he's uninhibited ... like most demagogues. There's a difference ...

Indeed.

It's also vitally important to have people around that you disagree with and that disagree with you. If everyone thought the same way then it'd be terrible for the country.

Donald Trump does not represent the majority of Americans (by the numbers), so it's important that there are those in the government that do defend and serve those whose issues aren't being addressed by the presiding party.

It's design is to create unjustified terror in the minds of the simple. Hyperbole on steroids. As the saying goes tell a lie loud enough and long enough people might eventually start believing it. Shame that reasonable discussion is set aside by the making of such claims.

Yes ... as president. Not as king.

At the most, he represents 1/3 of the american federal government ...
On what basis do you define it this way? I know there's the Legislative, Judicial and the Executive but the Judaical isn't supposed to be political anyway. And as for the Dems holding the House will they even be able to do that come November? It's looking more each day that maybe not.

Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter that the impeachment investigation was helpful in “unearthing who all needed to be fired.”

Indeed. The impeachment vote in the Senate was revealing.

Makes one wonder though why the Dems won't give up the reality of their Super delegates? Does their decisions respect the will of the majority of their Party?

On the basis upon which you state.

There are (3) branches of government ... of which Trump heads only one.

It was designed that way on purpose.

BTW ... Noone with good sense predicts the House will be taken back by the Republicans in 2020 ...

Whoever holds the House it is not the President who is in charge of it. Nor is he in charge of the Judicial branch, so 1/3 is correct.
