On 3 July 2019 the English Court of Appeal [2019] ECWA Civ 1127 upheld the appeal by university student Felix Ngole against Sheffield University expelling him for expressing his belief as a Christian that homosexuality and same sex “marriage” were wrong and sinful.
The Court held that simply expressing such views, provided this is not done in an offensive e.g. racist or sexually explicit way, did not amount to unlawful discrimination. Consequently the university was in the wrong to expel Felix.
This is another legal victory for free speech and for the right of Christians to express Biblical views!
Naturally the BBC, having reported Felix’s expulsion, did not report his successful appeal and the further support it gives against gayist bullying.
