Hi everybody,
My name is Austin, and I'm from Venice, FL, where my dad has been a PCA pastor for 16 years. It's certainly been an adventure, and the Lord continues to teach us daily. We've also been involved in foster care ministry for 3 years and are currently moving toward the adoption of three of the children. My four biological siblings and I have learned much through the experience and I think for the most part are glad to be involved, although there are definitely hardships that come with service. But we forge ahead in full expectation and hope of our Lord's mercies for whatever issues lie ahead.
I was born with spina bifida, for which I was glad to discover a thread here. God has proven His faithfulness time and time again through many difficult providences he has visited upon me, and rather than be mad, God has enabled me to look to Him through it and find His peace. One of the hardest times for me medically I can look back on as one of the highlights of my life in terms of God's providential and merciful care.
I'm grateful to have found such a huge concentration of Christians and I trust that God will cause his word to prevail on these boards and in all of our lives.
