New Feature: Subforum-Specific Foru.ms Logo!

Hi all

As you know, we are running a new Foru.ms Logo/Slogan competition, and we have around 20 entries being rotated at the top of every page at the moment - members have spent a lot of time coming up with these entries and I have to say that there is enormous giftings and talents here.

We will now allow each subforum to design their own Subforum Logo/Slogan which will only be displayed in that particular subforum and threads.

A good example is the new logo/slogan for the Site Supporter subforums - see it here:

So the Catholic OBOB subforum could have a Catholic themed logo, and so can the other subforums too, like the Teens subforum.

So subforum members - start cracking! The logo needs to be split up into 4 different parts (refer to the other Logo Competition thread on how to do this). Post logo entries here with the subforum name.

I'll get a mod to start a new CLOSED thread to store all the logos for each subforum so I don't have to wade through the posts here.

I look forward to the subforum logos that members come up with.

They're awesome... I just wouldn't include the Catholic Forum part---instead put Foru.ms. The image is pretty clear I think that we're the Catholics around here.

BTW, I am going to have each denomination have their on page in this one.

For some reason, when I typed OBOB, it came out as Obob. I advanced edited like 25 times, and it keeps changing it to Obob.

I just didn't want y'all to think I had done this on purpose. I love my Catholic bros and sistas.

Anytime. I like doing it actually. I just wasn't sure how much time I would be training, you know? It seems to be fairly flexible, so I can do this and train too.

I'll go dig it up. I was hoping someone would know it offhand and could post it here so people who haven't been to the other thread don't have to go searching around for it.

How does it work?

You need to modify the following graphics files, bearing in mind they have to be the same size, and fit together in the same way the files fit together in the current header.

Okay, right-click and save the following files:

Then put them together, modify them, and split them again in the same shapes and sizes.

Post them in this thread.

Well, I know how...However, I would request that a more experienced mod handle this. The reason being is that editing a post requires a report. I do not want to Edit Erwin's post.

We could potentially sticky this post in its own thread and add a link to it in Erwin's OP. I would still prefer that another mod edit Erwin's OP, though.
