He switched to being a Republican in 2016 only because he couldn't get elected as the candidate of a minor party (which he had previously tried). Not much different, really, than the track record of Bernie Sanders.

A man can have sound political views and still lead a moral life. Twenty years ago, the GOP was criticized for being like a religious sect. Now it's criticized for not being like one. As for those GOP voters whose consciences make it difficult to vote for a man like that... well now they don't have to.

Las Vegas has been called “Sin City.” I suppose politicians of both parties sought to protect sinful special interests for monetary gain. Christians have been warned to avoid brothels (fornication). Wicked people died there.
