Been doing genealogy research and considering displaying the info.

Aim is to have a small photo with their name and time period detail. But what materials to use? We have a huge family and the info goes back 13 generations for a couple of ancestors.

But what materials to use?

Considering printing labels with their photos and arranging on white poster bond paper which is available in 60" sheets.

But the overall display would be enormous. What could be used instead of poster bond that would be flexible enough to roll up if desired? When labels remain stable/intact or what could be used instead of labels?

Would appreciate your input.

Due to the enormity in size, it may be best to create a virtual one and maybe have it loaded on thumb drives to hand out or offer to email it to everyone that might be interested. I know a lot of family tree websites actually also offer printing a book of it as well.

Consider buying a roll of synthetic paper like Yupo. There are also translucent or transparent plastic surfaces like Mylar which may be interesting. Yupo is basically plastic paper and won't crinkle or tear. It's the toughest surface I've ever used. Another option would be a roll of primed canvas but the labels won't adhere as well. Or you could print the images on an iron on transfer paper (like used for t shirts) and iron them to a fabric and even make a quilt like pattern?
