  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm into screamo, punk, emo, and ska too [amoungst others]. I'm in love with screamo though, and ska was my 1st love in music [punk second, cuz they use to go hand in hand].

For good screamo check out:
Emery -a few good songs, nothing too great beyond "Walls" though
Underoath - new cd "They're Only Chasing Safety"
mewithoutYou -between hardcore & screamo
Dead Poetic -more screamo on the "New Medicine" cd than 1st one

Simple Emo:
MAE
Copeland
Lovedrug
Slow Coming Day
Futher Seems Forever

and u said you already had punk & ska, so I wouldn't put down any names for that then.

If you like both punk & screamo you can always check out some of the hard rock scene, cuz that seems to be where they try to mix the 2, though they come out with neither merely hard rock ..but that maybe besides the point.

Anyhow, for good Hard Rock bands try:
Thousand Foot Krutch -best in concert, good all the way around
Falling Up -new but good
Justifide
Kutless
Skillet -best in concert
Pillar -very popular, but not my choice
Kids in the Way -between Hard Rock & new punk

Enjoy,
