Need a book recommendation

Are there any good, indepth (but not too heavy on the Hebrew study) OT books that have come out recently? I'm taking a couple of classes at Liberty Univ and need a book to review and am looking for something current. The only book I have that falls into this category is an older book (written in the mid-70's) on Creation.

Could you be more specific? I can probably recommend some stuff to you... OT books is kind vague is all...

Hmm..."The Old Testament Documents: Are They Reliable and Relevant" by Walter Kaiser is a pretty good book. It could have been better, but he did well with having to deal with all that information. Anywho, I did a book review on it last semester and it went well. It's not that long, or hard to read, either...
