As Christian we should always be taking the side of the oppressed. This is Biblical from the beginning of scripture to the end. From Moses to Jesus.

Of course when injustice occurs it is our job to call it out and try to put a stop to it in a peaceful way. And to accuse all/any person of racism without knowing their heart is sin(lying, false witness, etc).

How should we as Christians
1: take a stand against injustice to a certain people while still honoring constitutional/biblically centered law enforcement
2: how do we react to the violent riots and vandalism of stores and businesses

#1 answers itself really there. One way of dozens is honestly recognizing the injustice that sparked the whole fire, as you just have.
(of course, it's not 'biblical' for a police officer to abuse their power and do wrongs themselves, and that is one important piece of the whole big picture)

#2 -- that people do wrongs after a big wrong is done isn't an excuse for their new wrongs of course, and we can point out both the original wrong and the new ones are both wrongs, as more than one person has helpfully in public.

As Christians, we should not be on anyone's side, because every side is imperfect and faulty. We are spiritual, the citizens of heavens. Worldly affairs do not determine us.

We should simply support peace, justice, good deeds, no matter which side does them. And we should oppose evil, violence, robbery, murders etc, no matter which side does them.

Prayer for one thing.

Requesting that other Christians please remember to continue to pray that the Lord will quickly end violent protesting surrounding the death of George Floyd in the US. This type of abuse of Constitutional freedoms (i.e. the right to assemble) leads to the erosion of the same rights.

1. Wait till all of the facts are in and do not judge.

2. Turn the other cheek.
