Oh, oops, this just reminded me I forgot to water my Poisettias and Lavendar plant on the porch last night like I meant to lol. They are drooping.

Sounds like you got to them in time. Yay!!!

Why is my variegated ivy plant dying?

Waaaaaaaaaa.
I have problems with spider mites on ivy.

You have to either get your plants from someplace that takes extraordinary care to make sure that they aren't exposed to pests ... or get a spray that will kill the mites.

If you know anyone that works at a nursery, ... they could tell you what you can use to spray.

Thanks. I didn't think about mites. Do mites cause a discoloration?

Mites suck the juices out of the plants, so green leaves turn brown, crumple, and will ultimately fall off. Untreated mites will eventually completely kill the plant.

Unfortunately, mites are a common issue with house-plants, and will spread if not stopped.

Thanks for the info. Can mites be seen?

Because they're so picky! I've tried numerous times to keep at least one of those ivy plants alive and they just won't have it! So fine, I give up! lol :p
