Ok my OCD latches on a fear that I’ve died and I’m at Gods Judgment.
My OCD latched onto this fear that God is purging all my sin because He wants to see me and then judge me.

Since God is Holy, He can’t have sin in front of Him.

Now this is a problem for a Christian because I feel either way condemned.

If I allow the Holy Ghost to get rid of my sins I’ll have to stand before Him, if I give into my sins I’ll be judged also.

This is very hard for a Christian that feels like I should be growing in Christ.

I don’t know what to do folks.

Have faith. God is good. Have you tried meditation? I have found it useful sometimes.

    For God So Loved
    (Genesis 22:1-10; Romans 5:6-11)

    John 3

16For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. 18Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

19And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God.”

Study Gods Word and you WILL grow in Christ. Yes, you are a sinner, we ALL sin. The more we learn, the more we practice what is learned ... it is a life-long process. All will mess up here and there.

"Since God is Holy, He can’t have sin in front of Him." True, however Jesus will stand in your (our) stead ... and you and us will be presented sinless before the judgement seat. Not for anything we have done, but because of what Christ has done for us.

    1 John 2

1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2He (Jesus) Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

    atoning sacrifice =
Christ's atoning blood that appeases God's wrath, on all confessed sin.

Try and focus on the Love of God and bible verses of encouragement.

May the Lord lead you through His Word daily.

    God Bless.

You don’t quite understand tho. I think I’m already dead and that there is no more time to repent.

That all of this is what was in my heart and God is going to send me where u do not want to go.

    Hey Dabro, *e-wave*

I hope you're well. Ok firstly you can not ever completely 'get rid of your sin'. God forgives sin if we repent. (repent means to ask for forgiveness and make conscious and intentional efforts not to repeat the sin you asked forgiveness for). Sin in a constant battle.
    • Romans 7:21-23 "So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.
    • Also read 1 John 1:8 "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”
It is clear from this passage that even those who have been born again and redeemed by the blood of Jesus will still sin. Although Christians will still sin after being saved, the heart change that the Holy Spirit brings will result in a new attitude toward sin. Sin cannot continue being a lifestyle choice if we have surrendered our lives to Jesus. (Romans 6:1-2)

We have a new boss. We cannot be followers of Christ and followers of sin at the same time. They are going in opposite directions.

So Dabro do Christians sin? Yes. Do they willfully continue in sin? No. Scripture indicates that, while we will always “fall short of the glory of God” we have the hope that the power of God is at work in us to “make us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image”

Lastly, imagine this scenario: A powerful king sits on his throne, judging the people. Guards attend him, and commoners wait in long lines for an audience. Suddenly, the doors of the throne room burst open. Heads turn, and everyone gasps. There stand two little boys. One is clean, but one is covered in mud and crying. With brazen boldness the unsullied boy tugs the other down the red carpet toward the throne. The guards pull their swords, waiting for a nod from the king to get rid of the intrusion. But the king holds up a hand, and his face softens into a smile.

The first little boy stops at the king's knee and pulls his buddy into the circle of his arm. "Dad, this is my friend. He's scared and hurt. I told him you could help." The king opens his arms to envelop both boys, not caring that mud is smeared on his royal robe. He looks into the frightened eyes of the muddy boy and says, "Any friend of my son's is welcome here. How can I help you?"

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:8-10

    And notice in particular...

....The Word of Faith, which we preach... - Romans 10:8

I am white and of Scottish descent. In the 1990's our factory hired several VT football players who were all black and of Word of Faith doctrine. In all my years of knowing these guys I have never once heard the first negative word out of their mouth, everything they spoke was faith. They called me, "McCwowt" and would say things like...

"Do you know what over comes fear McCwowt? Action! Action overcomes fear"

"I'm getting out of here McCwowt" And then lay out some plan of escape. They would also come to me saying...

"What are you believing God for McCwowt?" And expect some great plan that would bring joy to their hearts.

They were also very schooled in the Word of Faith. If you had any pains at all they would offer to pray for you right then and there. They also broke me of my negative talk and for that I am eternally grateful. There is another thing they use to say...

    "Good fellowship makes you strong."

If E = mc2 then we can divide and conclude that...

    Mass (m) = Energy (E/c2)

    And there are three varieties...

Natural E/c2 - All mass is basically cooled plasma
Mental E/c2 - Mentally, A mathematical formula, but this has chemical and spiritual properties as well.
Spiritual E/c2 - E (motivation, warmth, love) / c2 (faith, hope, charity, joy)

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.- 1 John 5:4

It is important to have a good foundation of faith. Here are some scriptures..
Kenneth Copeland Ministries - 6 Scriptures to Stand On in Difficult Times
60+ Bible Verses for Faith When Life Gets Hard - Quotes from Scripture

From the Word of Faith you will learn to speak positive things into your circumstances...

    “I am blessed”
    “I am healed”
    ‘I am an overcomer”

I recommend cutting the teeth on Word of Faith doctrine.... Moving on once the faith is in place.

You're here talking to us, so you definitely are not dead.

As far as our sin goes, God himself has determined that we are sinful, so he made a way out. All we need do is try to be good, meaning never plan on sinning/don't live in sin, and when we do sin, simply repent, and ask God forgiveness in the name of Christ, in that order. Aside from that, put God first and love thy neighbor daily, and to the point he made clear in the parable of the Sheep and the Goats...Jesus commanded it.

Ok Lily. Thank you for being honest. I assumed so.

Well if you believe in God truly and he's power, never say the sentence "I have OCD" ever again. Remember Satan is not a problem, the only problem is your knowledge. Read more, study more know more.

OCD is a mind issue sometimes deep rooted in some form of trauma. I believe you can benefit from gaining more knowledge on yourself rather than this "condition"

I can say I don’t have OCD till I’m blue in the face.

    God hasn’t healed me yet!

So stop telling ppl this. You’re just making it worse on those who suffer.

You might have OCD but it's not yours, you don't own it, it's an affliction that will definitely leave you in Jesus name so it's not yours.

Life and death are in the power of the tongue, you can confess your way to victory. Say it as many times as possible that you're not dead and this affliction will leave you, it works!
