There is a little girl, named Sally. She needs a kidney transplant or she will die.

Do I have the right to force you to give up one of your kidneys to save her life?

Considering Sally’s blood type is different than mine, no.

Her parents are dead and she has no living relatives. Now, try answering the question.

I’ve tried, the question keeps getting changed.

Well, since you are staling organs, steal it from her parents, it’s a better match.

Irrelevant. Even if we could do that, your kidney could be used to save someone else.

Now, can you answer the question?

No it hasn't.

No, absolutely not. I would though if I could, I'm not a monster :)

What kind of screwed up question is that? The answer is absolutely NO.
It doesn't matter how important, how rich, or how smart this girl is.. No one has the right to force anyone to give up a part of their body for another persons benefit.

Now.. there might be an exception to that rule but its a controversial one and would require some pretty deep thought, at least for me, to come to a good answer.

Lets say she needs the kidney because of the willful negligence or criminal actions of another person who is directly responsible for the damage to her own kidneys. Say a drunk driver caused an accident or a criminal poisoned her in a murder attempt..
Now it gets a bit muddy.

Should we force the guilty to give up a body part to pay restitution? (assuming they are compatible of course)...

My first thought is no... but again, I'd have to dig deep on that and might even need help to quantify the morality.

Oh, didn’t see this one.

No, you or anyone else does not have the right to take my kidney, but if someone wants to try and take one, there will be kidneys available for harvesting.
