Muslim Group Raises $25,000 for London Attack Victims in 48 Hours

A crowdfunding campaign to raise money for the victims of Wednesday’s terror attack in London has met its goal twice-over in under two days.

Under the title “Muslims United for London,” Muddassar Ahmed posted the campaign on the crowdfunding site LaunchGood.
Hmm, I epect to see the Usual Suspects endorsing this any second now...

It was good of them to do this. I would imagine that they feel especially bad about what happened even though they were not responsible. I know I do when someone who says they are a Christian commits a violent act.

I agree...it was good of the Muslim group to do this. There seems to be an anti-Muslim/anti-Islamist undercurrent in these forums....I think that is troubling

I saw this on the news tonight. :)

I think such love and generosity can be cathartic, for the recipients as well as for the givers. Especially since the organizer of the fundraising campaign was a victim by proximity, as he and everyone else in or near Parliament would have felt terrified and traumatized by the carnage and chaos. I hope that it is.
