What was the last movie that you and your spouse saw together at a theater (without your kids)?

Unfortunately its been so long I can't remember.

It was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. We were going to see Narnia which came out a couple months later but we didn't bother in the end.

But this was the first time in years that we've gone to a movie without the kids. I took her out like it was a date. We both got dressed up, had supper out, then went to the movie. Unfortunately, all too soon, it was time to go home.

We tried to go see Walk the Line a few months ago but it wasn't playing anywhere close by our house.

Walk The Line. Good movie, great acting by Reese and Joaquin. We hope to see Failure to Launch this weekend.

We went to see Lucky Number Slevin last week, but that was a double date with hubby's friend and his girlfriend. Our last movie 'date' date was to see Casanova on Valentine's day, which was a lovely night.

That was my first thought as well.

I think it was 2 Fast 2 Furious. Yes, it's been a while.

Neither of us are big movie goers. We'd much rather crank up the surround sound and watch movies at home.

Walk the Line (great movie btw)

Hubby wants to see Inside Man soon, don't know when we will get to the movies though. We used to go about once every month to six weeks. Now we get to the movies maybe once every three months and sometimes not even that.

Oh, but the drive in will be opening in a couple months......hmm...we might start going more often then now that hubby no longer works second shift.

$5/person for 2 current movies...you just can't beat it!

I didn't even know that movie was in the theaters.

We watched Proof on DVD and wondered why we never heard about it.

I think the last movie we saw at the theater was Narnia. But we're gonna be practically living at the theater this summer. She's already redeemed some of our loyalty points for a bunch of free movie passes.

Yeah, it was in the theatres. But when we saw it, there were only about 8 other people in the theatre. I don't think it was very popular.
