Morning Prayer before Liturgy?

Do we do our morning prayer rule before attending Church?

Ask your Priest about this because he may have you do something that is right for you and your spiritual growth. The standard is, I believe, to say the normal morning prayers.

My prayer book splits the pre communion prayers into a part to be said the night before. That part would be said after the bedtime prayers. The next morning, I would say my morning prayers then finish the precommunion prayers before leaving for Church.

My prayer life does not meet this standard and my Priest encourages me to do "what I can" and the minimum is to say the precommunion prayers if I am able to receive or the morning prayers otherwise. Again, this is what I do as my prayer life needs improvement. Ask your Priest!

I say my morning prayers everyday when I get up. Just to thank God for another day of life.
