It is not only not Biblical, but the Mormon temple replica in Clay County, MO is quite the eyesore, at least to me. The RLDS/Community of Christ temple here in Independence is easier on the eyes, but I suppose it is not Biblical either...

Correct. Any and all temples including brick and mortar congregations are merely a place to meet and worship. The building and the land it sits on is just an earthly place and not the spiritual Temple that the Holy Spirit dwells in, which is the body of the believer who collectively makes up
The Body of Christ.
