More Than 400 Studies on the Failure of Compulsory Covid Interventions ⋆ Brownstone Institute

The great body of evidence (comparative research studies and high-quality pieces of evidence and reporting judged to be relevant to this analysis) shows that COVID-19 lockdowns, shelter-in-place policies, masks, school closures, and mask mandates have failed in their purpose of curbing transmission or reducing deaths. These restrictive policies were ineffective and devastating failures, causing immense harm especially to the poorer and vulnerable within societies.

The links to all the studies are there.

'We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to a failed fact check and the promotion of misinformation regarding Covid-19.'

Since we can't trust the site to accurately report the conclusions of the 400 studies, I don't see any reason to waste my time looking at 400 studies.

Of course not.

Neither do you.
I haven’t said that I won’t. I just haven’t had the time and didn’t want to lead anyone to believe otherwise. But I also don’t put genetic fallacies because they are fallacious.

If youre not confident a source is reliable, just avoid them. And avoid referring other people to them. Thats not genetic fallacy. Its just a reasonable way of going through life.

I didn’t say that I wasn’t confident.

Others have reason to lack confidence.

I was just disputing that their approach to having journalistic standards in their life is "genetic fallacy".
Maybe you should look up what a genetic fallacy is.

Maybe you should look up when its appropriate to reach for your logical fallacy flashcards and when it isnt.
It is here. Stating or implying that the 400 studies aren’t worth looking at because of who assembled them is a logical fallacy, specifically a genetic fallacy.

False.

A genetic fallacy would be saying the 400 studies are wrong because of who assembled them.

Whether they are worth looking at is a question of how many hours you have in your day and what standards are reasonable to see that they arent wasted every time somebody fronts a claim.

And as usual, we end up debating things that aren’t the OP.

Now that’s telling.

Well, you havent read any of those studies. I havent read any either. So why not argue about something else?
I have perused some at random. There are some interesting reads.

I would be very surprised if every intervention had positive value. Especially given how the lack of vaccine cooperation pretty much assures backsliding for any temporary achievement.
