Last year, Kraig Moss sold the equipment for his construction business in upstate New York and stopped making mortgage payments so he could follow Donald Trump on the campaign trail.
The amateur country crooner sang pro-Trump ditties while strumming a guitar emblazoned with Trump campaign stickers, earning him the moniker "Trump Troubadour."
International media dubbed him "the voice of unheard America."

But now, Moss refuses to play the guitar with the Trump decorations. He's soured on the President because of the newly proposed Republican health care bill.
That legislation, which the president supports, could result in dramatic cuts in addiction treatment services.

Three years ago, Moss found his son, Rob, dead in his bed from a heroin overdose. He was 24.
"The bill is an absolute betrayal of what Trump represented on the campaign trail," he said. "I feel betrayed."

How can America become great if we are throwing money away on food programs for lazy people with an entitlement mindset? Socialism never made anything great.

Beware the salesman who describes himself and as "honest and straight-talking." There will be millions of Americans over the next few years, who will learn that lesson the hard way.

In Warren, Amber Barr, 34, lives in a women’s supportive housing complex and regrets voting for Mr. Trump. She and her 4-year-old daughter, Brooklynn, survive on a $588 disability check and $340 in food stamps every month. Her rent is $99, and she fears that Mr. Trump’s housing cuts are just the beginning.

“If I didn’t have these programs, I wouldn’t have any kind of support, I wouldn’t have any kind of direction as to what to do, where to go, and I wouldn’t have any money to help me find resources,” Ms. Barr said, as she began to cry.

What's strange to me, is that so many people, who voted for Trump, are dependent on the Obama Care, that he promised to get rid of. It is good, that they spoke out, against Trump Care. I was very glad, that he failed, with repealing Obamacare.

This thread is not about Trump failing, but about "political supporters [of Trump] suddenly discovering why their support was misplaced"

The former supporter quoted in the article made such a discovery and now believes his support was misplaced.

Political supporters of anyone or thing are welcome. Brexiteers suddenly discovering they loose their jobs after being locked out of the common market, for example...

Pro-Trump farmers now worry he was serious about NAFTA repeal

"NAFTA as we know it today will change," a person close to the White House told CNN last month.
That is exactly what worries farmers, who say any changes to NAFTA could upset their markets and lead Mexican importers to look towards more stable South American producers.
"It is positively huge to have these market accesses for us," said John Linder, a fifth-generation corn, soybean and wheat farmer from Ohio. "It would be very detrimental to the profitability of corn to lose these markets."

Oh man. "I'm a straight talker" is basically code for "I'm a narcissistic, overbearing bully."

He Played Me For a Fool...

In a heartbreaking interview, one Kentucky voter for President Donald Trump revealed that he believed it when Trump told voters he would fight for them. Now, however, Trump is cutting programs that help people like him survive while jobs are scarce.

Trump angers US farmers by lifting ban on Argentine lemons

Now US citrus farmers are crying foul. They say jobs and farmland are at risk. They thought Trump was on their side.

"Something we thought was laid to rest was brought to life again," says Curt Holmes, chair of the California Citrus Mutual, an advocacy group.

I never thought the lemons would eat *my* face.
