Here are a few prophetic utterances I am wondering about:
I have been following Kim Clement's website since he seemed to accurately predict the upset about the Presidential election and when it would end, during the week before it happened. Recently he prophesied that Bin Laden would die Dec 5. Now all we know from public newscasts is that he hasn't been positively heard from since Nov. 28th. (All I have heard about is "Elvis type" sightings.) Kim has said he has made mistakes and is still learning.
Pat Robertson has been warning of a larger event than 9/11 that would come early in 2002. Now he is saying March 15 is a date he has been concerned about for a while. He doesn't seem absolutely perfectly positive that he has heard accurately from God, evidently, but he is willing to risk declaring that he thinks something will happen. Certainly his Revival book has been used by God to affect millions of people profoundly, and that tells me that God's hand is on him lately.
Several people have predicted a great move/event of God to occur during March--this month--I heard of these predictions on various TBN programs.
I imagine others know of other modern prophecies which deserve attention.
I am learning that modern day prophecies are not like the words of the prophets in the Bible--who were people seriously used by God, who could not utter one false prophecy and still have the prophetic title. This prophesying by latter day sons and daughters seems to be more generally found in the body and evidently misinterpretations can occur.
I have only been Christian since 1995, so I have not followed and studied this for a long time, but I would like to know what others think about these phenomena.
