Awesome story!

A lot of impact isn't always seen at the present time, and there are times where more impact will be seen after someone is dead. Like the case of martyrs who die for their faith in Jesus Christ, like Tertullian said; "The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church."

Isaiah 40:31

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Although this man thought he was a failure, something which is a pity, because he should have trusted God more when doing his missionary works, and leaving the convicting over to God with any influences of impact given in what he did, there were much fruits of salvation coming forth after he left.

And perhaps it wasn't needed for him to know this? Since all glory should be given to God alone! And Jesus Christ will be seen glorified through all works done for His Kingdom!

God is good, and faithful. He will not let the labors and tears of his servant be put to waste. It takes sometimes many years before one can see the way God moves.
