I'm trying to speculate on why Colin left. And does he miss the place now?
We can all get in a black mood here, blaming other posters for our lack of satisfaction.
I'm thinking he got tired of himself. he got bored with himself. That is not a shot at Colin because it happens to all of us. I've run out steam recently. Run out of ideas. I must appear boring to others because I am starting to tire of my own jokes. We all need to recharge our batteries.

How about we just except each other the way we truly are warts and all? Sometimes we're up and cracking jokes other times we're down and just dropping by to say hi. IRL I tend to be quite a lot but so is my wife and that's normal for us actually it's kinda peaceful. But for some people it makes them uncomfortable and even can assume something is wrong when there isn't anything wrong.
