Those otders at least in terms of using incarceration to enforce them ( unless we are talking about house arrest) will be as stupid next time as they were this time.

I suspect there's a lot more to this particular case than we're hearing.....

Anyone have a link to the judge's decision?

Does not matter you cannot get much more non-violent than this "violation" I mean think about it she would not have been open if people were not giving her their business, so you are locking a non-violent offender up in a crowded jail in close quarters where co-vid could easily spread by force for being opened and allowing people to CHOOSE to give her their business yeah that makes a LOT of sense.

Wow. You are really missing the point. I’ll just ignore that you introduced Romans 13 to the discussion.
You are the one who brought me into the discussion. What were you thinking?

Of course, how can I help? Are you unfamiliar with the case of Eric Garner?
I’m trying to understand your point.

Ah, let me try to explain. If someone sees tyranny in actions taken to protect the common good but is OK with the state killing it's own citizens for minor offenses then I do not find them to be reasonable people whom I should take seriously. Does that help?

Yawn.

The only people who get all hysterical about COVID lockdowns are the fringe demographic who aren’t the ones VP Harris and company are trying to appeal to anyway. The rest of us see that they treated COVID seriously as a sign they are capable leaders in the face of an unprecedented disaster.

Regardless, people don't get have the right to just ignore laws they disagree with. Our system has a way of challenging laws that might seem unjust.
Yes and one way us to ignore it, get charged and then go through the process to get it declared unconstitutional or repealed. But everyone here seems to have forgotten that this wasn't a law. It was a governor's order. They aren't the same thing. And for a governor to order this and the way it was enforced is evidence of totalitarianism. Left wing socialistic type state.

....not giving in to a public health order intended to protect the lives of Minnesotans.

When the next pandemic arrives, one wonders what a GOP controlled governor would actually do. Any orders given in the name of the greater good will be spun as "tyranny".
I guess we'll see. And "any order" is not necessarily tyranny. Some orders are and some aren't. I think someone mentioned somewhere, the devils in the details. People were allowed to gather and protest and riot. But a woman wasn't allowed to keep her business open to save her livelihood. Tyrannical indeed.

Coming and going or lingering. (Why are we still talking about this 4 years later?)
Because it's relevant to today. It shows how Walz is. That he is willing to use his power to control people and be tyrannical. And for Harris to choose him shows she supports that kind of behavior.
