By that's not going to happen. What Trump said was refuted by the Mexicans. The border is not going to be effectively closed. Mexico didn't promise that. Trump is just telling you what you want to hear. If that's all you want, if that's all you need to be satisfied then that's all he'll keep doing. The facts of the matter don't come into it.
The border will be effectively closed to illegals migrating through Mexico; and no that's not what Mexico promised. That's just something that people inferred by taking Trump out of context. I can see that it's going to be a long four years of dealing with Left-Wingers taking sound bites and jumping to conclusions.
Of course they didn't promise that. But that is literally what Trump said. That the border would be 'effectively closed'. It's not taken out of context as everything he said was quoted.
He didn't say that she promised that. You're taking him out of context. Is this intentional?
You've got the complete statement he made. That's it. That's all of it. The border is not going to be effectively closed. That cannot be stated any clearer. But it's what Trump said. You can parse it any which way you want. This isn't someone's opinion on what someone might think about some hypothetical position. It's an actual statement. In English. The meaning of which is crystal clear.
And I'll also wait to see 11 million people being rounded up and expelled from the country as well. Something else that he's told you that he'll do which won't happen.
