I like Fr Matt's answer.

But without seeing that, I always tend to think of my life as a journey. Hopefully one mostly onwards and upwards. (Or in the words of CS Lewis - further up and further in!)

I was seeing life as a journey but yesterday I decided to change. I now see it as a gift and am much more excited.

Well, if it is a metaphor for life, I would say Fr. Matt's answer is correct.

If it is, however, a metaphor for my life, this one works pretty well:

I see. That is the first time I am conscious of this. I have read him titled as Power, yet never Life.
So what then can we say about life if Jesus is the metaphor? Clearly, there is much suffering, though that only tells one part of the story. And there is much meaning for the suffering. Also, it is a time to lead, which I think is the part that stands out the most, aside from suffering.

I think Fr Matt is referring to his "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life" statement, but I could be wrong

If Jesus is Life then we must:

Lead
Leave something behind
Gather together
Teach
Have faith
Suffer with great meaning.
Give
Perform miracles

What else?

we must love even those who kill us.
