Is he really though? Does he act Catholic? Should I vote for him?

What are the criteria for being a "real Catholic"?

The new Democratic orthodoxy is that Tara Reade has to be a liar. I mean ... because ... Trump.

Not sure. Is Biden one? That might help in coming to a definition.

Did they say He's Catholic? I don't watch much TV news.

He uses the Catholic label when it’s convenient but he openly goes against the teachings of the Church. He is itching to drag the Little Sisters of the Poor back to court... the list goes on.

Her indecipherable brand of #metoo-ism isn't the only thing I find somewhat interesting...

Either he's a Catholic or he isn't. Are Catholics going to vote against him because he's not holy enough?

Has nothing to do with holiness as no Catholic judges people in this way.

However, Biden has opposed Church teaching on abortion and same sex marriage.

Just before the Democratic Primary Debates, he came out against the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits federal funds being used for abortions.

So, he would probably be considered a "cafeteria catholic," in that he picks and chooses what doctrines he believes and only according to the audience which stands before him.

But he -> is <- a Catholic. Are Catholics going to vote against one of their own even if he's not perfect?

Catholics don't vote for a person just because they say they're Catholic. It's not an ethnic group or nationality.

Biden like Nancy Pelosi claim their Catholicity when looking for votes, yet have been in opposition of Catholic teachings on moral issues like abortion and same-sex marriage.

Many Catholics don't like Trump, but are concerned about Biden, especially now that he's chose Harris, who has expressed anti-Catholicism recently.

It's up to you of course, but I would think that voting for a Catholic, even an imperfect one, would be very important to you. Are you really going to vote for a non-Catholic (who has his faults!)?

If I'm in a plane, the most important issue is whether the pilot knows how to fly it, not his professed religion.
