And further, if you deduct from the caseload those who have since recovered, your ‘active case’ number is lower....which means the deaths represent an even higher percentage...!
The mortality rate is based on the number of deaths divided by the number of people who got the disease.
It is too early to be doing the statistics...we still have a lot more deaths to figure in before they level out and we also have to figure out how many people had the disease and haven't been counted.
You are making a prediction ... so am I. But we are a long way from having an actual number.
