Over the past few decades, my thought was that I was being called to something big such as a pastor but I come to realize that I may be called to something small not big for the Lord.

We will be called to do exactly what we are equipped and trained by God to do. The strengths he places in us in when creating us in mothers womb and the experiences he puts us through to allow us to see everything we are supposed to see in order to learn things HE wants us to learn enable us to be equipped and trained for the calling. If we walk in surrender and humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, He will make use of us in due time and we will do everything we are called to do through HIM who strengthens.

God has a plan and purpose for everyones life and it is unique. We need to focus on doing what he wants of us and hope for the reward - "Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master"

Moreover, not all that appears big is big in the eyes of the Lord. Jesus considered the offering of the poor woman "more" than all others. God sees things something which our worldly eye cannot perceive and His judgements and reward systems are beyond our understanding.

Big or small will be decided by the Lord when he separates wheat from the chaff. Just do whatever God calls you to do without regard to it being big or small.

God bless!

Who am I?
1 Corinthians 15 But someone will say, "How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?"
Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies.
And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain--perhaps wheat or some other grain.
But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.
All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.

Just be all you can be

To be honest, i don't ever wish to be big in the eyes of man anyway, in the area of my calling. In God's eyes, our earthly assignments are equally important. I certainly don't wish to become a pastor or anything that's viewed as big, by society. The challenges and struggles that come along with things like that, are far too many and burdensome. I'd rather remain small in man's eyes and at the same time, get to enjoy gazing, upon the beauty of my Lord for life.
