Sometimes when I open the Word, I only read a line and get a message. Other times I have to read several chapters before the Holy Spirit says stop. I would love to read the Bible all the way through uninterrupted. Matthew 14 , 15 and 16 has something that goes together. I have wrote different things from all of these but today saw something new.
Matthew 14:21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
Matthew 15:38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
Matthew 16:9Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
We are to know everything by the Spirit of God.
Matthew 16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
Matthew 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
We have been given the Gift of the Holy Spirit and without anyone saying to us , that is a man of God we should know it if we have been eating from the Only Leaven we where to eat from. We should know the signs and what is of God and what is of the world without anyone telling us.
There are many popular Pharisee and Sadducces being uprooted right now because God was not the planter. Trust the Holy Spirit do not listen, go or trust anything else right now.
They are saying the Captain of that boat that sank , told them they would not need their life jackets. What has happened to us that we listen to humans more than our Spirit? We have One Captain , we have been given a Life Jacket and He left us the Holy Spirit to have better judgment than what the world says.
Examine today who you trust with your body, soul and Spirit.
