Is there any significance of Luke 21 using the singular "cloud" while Matt 24 and Mar 13 use plural clouds? Any thoughts on this?

Matthew 24:30
and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in the heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth smite the breast,
and they shall see the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of the heaven, with power and much glory;

Mark 13:26
‘And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in clouds with much power and glory.....

Luke 21:
27 ‘And then they shall see the Son of Man, coming in a cloud, with power and much glory;

For me when the son of man ( Jesus returns) it will be upon a veil being torn and of the body of Christ that fills the entire sky. For me I really do not see any significance. For it still gives the same exact verse. God Bless.

"Besides these [signs], a few days after that feast, on the one- and-twentieth day of the month Artemisius, [Jyar,] a certain prodigious and incredible phenomenon appeared; I suppose the account of it would seem to be a fable, were it not related by those that saw it, and were not the events that followed it of so considerable a nature as to deserve such signals; for, before sun-setting, chariots and troops of soldiers in their armour were seen running about among the clouds, and surrounding of cities."

When you go into the Greek in the above verses they are one in the same.

nephos: a mass of clouds, a cloud
Original Word: νέφος, ους, τό
Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
Transliteration: nephos
Phonetic Spelling: (nef'-os)
Definition: a mass of clouds, a cloud
Usage: a cloud; met: a dense crowd, a multitude, great company.

I'm confused by folks willing to accept this and not the plain reading of Jesus physically and visibly returning
