Why does matriarchy demean men? There are many matriarchal societies in this world and men seem to do just fine!

I see kids with-out one or the other parent and I can't help thinking that the parents are fools for missing out of their kid's lives. These men and women who run around making babies--then abandoning them--is such an evil. It's this evil that lies at the root of Matriarchy.
As for polygamy, I don't see how a father can be a true parent when he's got kids all over the place. Between work and other obligations, it's a pretty sure bet he'll have very little time left to see--let alone parent--any of his children in a significant way.
