Israel will stand against any kind of opposition, but I don't see any of it leading to a full scale invasion of their country. Especially by any one of the permanent security council members. The U.N. will likely resort to dropping sanctions on Israel.
The IDF , while small in comparison to their American counterparts, is not something to be taken lightly. They're well equipped and could most definitely stand up to some rebels with pea shooters trying to take the west bank.
And if the UN has said they intend to GIVE the West Bank and Gaza to the muslims as well as divide Jerusalem, what then?
Does that embolden the muslims? Do they think, "aha! The whole world is not going to blame us for taking what is ours because the UN is about to give us half of Israel and half of Jerusalem!"?
What can Israel do if the whole world is standing against them, politically, and possibly militarily, certainly under threat, if the muslims decide they are going to invade and TAKE what the UN intends to give the muslims anyway?

9Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
When Israel is invaded, some peoples are on the sidelines saying, "gee, what are you up to?" They are certainly not rising in defense of Israel or doing anything about it.
