Massive invasion of Israel - right on schedule, prophetically??

According to Joel 1 and 2, as well as Matt 24, the reason the great tribulation is cut short for the sake of the elect is the massive invasion of Israel at the time of the 5th/6th seal.

It occurs just before the Day of the Lord is about to begin. In fact, the destruction of those invaders is the first event ON the Day of the Lord.

The timing of the invasion, according to Joel 1 is in the Spring before Passover:


Joel 1:5Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.
6For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.
7He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
8Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
9The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn.
10The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.
11Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
12The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
13Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.
14Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, 15Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

And then, look at what's happening in Israel. Suddenly muslim terrorists are barraging Israel with rockets, murdering innocent civilians in their sleep and at bus stops. Israel responds by attacking terrorist training camps in Gaza and the world condemns ISRAEL for crimes against humanity. It's an interesting game the world is playing - and Israel is set to lose no matter what they do. But God is Sovereign and has declared what the outcome of all of this will be.

Or you could keep it in context and realize the reason it is cut short is so the Elect can be saved from the DECEPTION of the False Christ.

It not a matter of theology. Its a matter of practicality. No one who would want to is currently in a position to invade Israel. Therefore, no one is going to invade Israel.

Oh, sure, geopolitics is constantly shifting, things may well be different in 50 years time, or even 20, however the OP, based on this and another of her threads, seems to be talking about imminently, like, this month or the next. And its not gunna happen.

Jesus said the tribulation is over before the 6th seal, when the sun and moon darken, stars fall and there is an earthquake.

Look at what is happening at that moment in time in Joel 2:

Therefore, the reason the great tribulation that began with Israel's desolation is cut short or else no one would survive is because of this massive invasion. The last trumpet and the gathering of God's people occurs at this moment as well. The antichrist and false prophet arise after it occurs and the elect of Israel are on earth (but protected according to Revelation 9 and Revelation 12) to witness those false miracles.

The massive invasion is described in Ezekiel 38, Rev 12 (flood), Isaiah 17, and in Jeremiah.

The invasion occurs at the time of the 5th/6th seal and the destruction of the invaders is the first thing that occurs in the 7th seal wrath of God on the Day of the Lord, namely the hail, fire and blood that falls from the sky.

Ezek 38:

16And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
18And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. (wrath begins)
19For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
22And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.


Compare to 1st trumpet of 7th seal, remembering that they are invading during the 5th and 6th seals:

Rev 8:7The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

A). No. I don't consider Glen Beck to be part of the "news programs" that are to keep us abreast of world affairs. He does tell us much, much more than they do. They spend time on Charlie Sheen and Lindsey Lohan while he tells us of the workings of Soros, Obama, Sunstein, William Ayers, Van Jones, Trumpka, etc., etc., etc. The many that hate capitalism and will do all they can to bring "change." Change to socialism, communism, marxism. Change to a really God-less nation. Sound good yet?

B). We could start by not being disrespectful to Netanyahu when he comes to the White House. We could stand with them against the Muslim nations.
