We finally got rid of our television this weekend. We talked about doing that for a while, but it was difficult. We already fasted from tv for various fasts, but I’m glad we decided to rip the bandaid off.

So in short, the college grads, professors and admin provide the ideology

it’s actually interesting that here in the States the tide is turning against extremes in academia, since so many have been hit by the extreme left (especially liberals). there is an ever growing non-profit called the Heterodox Academy which fights for free inquiry and against ideology.

aside from Bluey for the kids (and me), my wife and I pretty much keep the tv on classical or seasonal music during the day.

The kids seem to be handling it well. I’ll miss the fake fireplace during Nativity season, though.
