Many times, Ha-Satan is being better believer than many people that profess Jesus’ name.

Most of the people think that believing in Jesus is something extraordinary, as if they are better than other people in virtue of this. Nonetheless, see this:

• “You believe that there is one God, you do well; even the demons believe and tremble.” (Jas 2:19)

The demons not only believe in the Creator, but tremble before Him. Many believers state that where they go to congregate is God’s house and, nevertheless, they don’t have any reverence. They spend most of the time talking to the person that is beside them, sleeping, going to the restroom or to the drinking fountain, etc.

Think: if you went to the palace of a king (or if he went to your house), how would you behave (see Malachi 1:8)?

Furthermore, see this:

• “And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying and cutting himself with stones. And when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshiped Him,” (Mar 5:5,6).

Did you fancy how good would be if every believer was with alacrity to go to where Jesus is being glorified and exalted? This man that was possessed by at least two thousand demons, when he saw Jesus AFAR OFF, he RAN to worship Him. Where is the joy of the psalmist (Psalm 110:1) in the heart when the time to go to the presence of the Creator to have communion with Him and His Body is arrived? Most of the people consider this moment exactly as people in the time of Malachi:

• “But you are profaning it when you say, The table of Jehovah, it is polluted; and its fruit, His food, is to be despised. You also said, Behold, what a weariness it is! And you have puffed at it, says Jehovah of Hosts. And you bring plunder, and the lame, and the sick, and you bring the food offering. Should I accept it from your hand, says Jehovah?” (Mal 1:12,13).

But this isn’t all! And what about our supposed self-sufficiency? See the excepts:

• “And Satan answered Jehovah and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man has he will give for his life. But indeed put forth Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse You to Your face. And Jehovah said to Satan, Behold, he is in your hand, but save his life. And Satan went forth from the presence of Jehovah and struck Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot to the top of his head.” (Job 2:4-7).
• “And all the demons begged Him, saying, Send us into the pigs, that we may enter into them. And immediately Jesus allowed them. And the unclean spirits went out and entered into the pigs. And the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea (they were about two thousand), and were choked in the sea.” (Mar 5:12,13).
• “And Jehovah said, Who shall entice Ahab that he may go up and fall at Ramoth in Gilead? And one said this way, and another said that way. And there came forth a spirit and stood before Jehovah and said, I will entice him. And Jehovah said to him, With what? And he said, I will go forth and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And He said, You shall entice him and succeed also. Go forth and do so.” (1Ki 22:20-22).

Take heed that, in all this cases, Ha-Satan and his demons always ask for permission to the Creator before doing something. And what about us? How many times we do the thing by ourselves (as it took place in Isaiah 30:2; Hosea 8:4) and we still blame the Creator when things go wrong! By any chance are we stronger than the angels?

• “Likewise, indeed, also these dreaming ones even defile flesh, and despise rulership, and speak evil of glories. But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the Devil, he argued about the body of Moses, he dared not bring a judgment of blasphemy, but said, Let the Lord rebuke you!” (Jud 1:8,9).

If we indeed believe that Jesus is our only and sufficient Lord, Savior and Treasure, we need to wait for Him, even if the problem looks to be small. Recall what came about Israel’s people in Joshua and have a good day in Christ Jesus.
