Man of Peace or Man of War?

Is Jesus Christ a man of peace or a man of war? Can we get a better picture of who Jesus Christ is and his character?

• The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name. (Exodus 15:3)
  
• 13 The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. (Isaiah 42:13)
  
• "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. (Matthew 10:34)
  
• The antichrist is thought to be a bringer of peace. (Daniel 11:21)

A lot of academia and the media seems to support the War Protestors of the 1960's. They tend to twist or spin the truth, to make The War Protesters look good. They were not good. They were evil. According to Saint Augustine, Evil is the privatization of Good. What has the left worked to do since Vietnam? Privatize Good. At a University, who is often seen as Good? In political correctness, anyone who is not a Christian man is good? A White Christian man in particular is considered an oppressor, but someone need not be white or Christian to have suffered or felt the fallout for this.

Modernist Philosophy came to be seen as man triumphing over the world's problems outside of God and religion. That makes Modernist Philosophy Luciferian. Luciferianism is the belief that man or something else is the light outside of God Almighty. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

Communism or Socialism working towards some form of Communism works to build a Luciferian Utopia. An atheistic socialist state, with no borders, that denies the Book of Daniel. (Daniel 12) Given someone were study Communist China, for example, Communist China has been oppressing Christians, and has worked to control what they preach. The Book of Daniel, for example, is off limits in Socialist or Communist States, most often, because it conflicts with a Communist vision of Utopia, and the end goal of mankind. The end goal is the Kingdom of God. They were and are misinformed, and on the wrong side of history.

The End Times
1 “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.
2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”(Daniel 12:1-4)

When Christian Bakers are being prosecuted and persecuted because they do not want to be forced to participate in a gay wedding, what is really happening? Communist - Socialist States tend to oppress Christians. There are two different and competing visions for where mankind has been headed. Socialist tend to see marriage as an outdated institution, and have worked to destroy marriage. War Protestors in the 1960's were known for debauchery. Those type of people have been working to privatize Good towards some ends. A variety of young people who have gone through public school may have grown up with false perceptions of who is good and who is wrong, who they are, and are meant to be, and who God is.

The Lord is a man of war and:

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. (John 15:13)

King David, who had a heart after God, and is part of prophecy, was a man of war. When David offered to fight Goliath, was he not laying down his life for his friends and countrymen? A man volunteering during Vietnam to fight Godless Communism and/or to be with his brothers, with his heart in the right place may have been close to God.

It is interesting that John Lennon "Imagine" loving protestors in debauchery during the 1960's seemed to hate their own countrymen, men doing their duty that elected representatives everyone voted for told them to do. They would be dishonorable people, lacking in integrity, who rejected the truth for a lie, and were given over to dishonorable passions. (Romans 1:18-32) They seemed to aid the enemy, an enemy that would murder Doctors, Teachers, and Politicians, usually college educated people, who did not agree with Communism. It is egregious that Americans would bolster enemy moral and work to hurt their countrymen while they were overseas being shot at. It is something that should be brought up often, and not forgotten, especially with the push for Social Justice.

The Truth hurts. Knowledge brings sorrow. Ignorance is bliss? A variety of people have grown up with false perceptions.

Jesus lived His life as an example for us to follow. He said: "Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?" We have authority and we can work with the Angels. "For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds." (2Cor10:3,4)

David was not allowed to build the temple: "But God said to me, 'You are not to build a house for my Name, because you are a warrior and have shed blood.' " 1Chron38:3

God clearly directed Israel in war, and sent them Judges who were warriors at times. Christians are to be Law Abiding Citizens and do good.

King David is a major part of prophecy. Jesus came from the line of David.

• "'My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees. (Ezekiel 37:24)

The war protestors around college campuses engaged in debauchery. Some did not do good and do the law abiding duty their elected representatives asked them to. Others supported them. What spirit were they of?
