From the article: The 37-year old man, who eats his meals from a dog bowl, said he 'didn’t ever feel right as a human.'
Kaz James, a 37-year-old store manager from Salford, Greater Manchester, told the media that he has always felt “weird” and “never felt like a human,” and then realized in his teens that he is a puppy. That is, a young dog, in case that wasn’t clear. He eats his meals from a dog bowl, frequently barks at his friends, snacks on dog biscuits, carries things around in his mouth, and has thousands of pounds worth of rubber outfits, dog leashes, and other paraphernalia to assist in his transformation. He even wrote a book, How to Train a Human Pup, and strives to “be dog” in his whole life.

I feel a bit weird sometimes. Who knew being a dog might be the answer?

Are we surprised?

Surprised by what? that a nutjob did something nutjobby, or someone with an axe to grind decided to tar and feather a whole group with the actions of said nutjob?

I'm going with "no" in both cases

Here's a timely reminder of what the founder of all protestant churches had to say about Jews:
he argues that Jewish synagogues and schools be set on fire, their prayer books destroyed, rabbis forbidden to preach, homes burned, and property and money confiscated. They should be shown no mercy or kindness,[2] afforded no legal protection,[3] and "these poisonous envenomed worms" should be drafted into forced labor or expelled for all time.[4] He also seems to advocate their murder, writing "[W]e are at fault in not slaying them".[5]

Or I could have gone with Westbro, or the various comments of White protestant Trump supporting Nazis.

Perhaps the message is less ridiculous association of one man's idoicy to the entirety of an unrelated, or even related, group of people.

Talking points?

A right wing publication with a long long long history of fraud and fake news , good for a laugh but not much else.
"Transgender talking points" only exist in the minds of the hate groups that make them up. People aren't talking points.

All we have here is hate being pushed and glorified by focusing on a single disturbed person.

"Do you want more attention? Do you wish that people would love you more? Would you like to have free room and board? Are you tired of using toilets and cleaning up after yourself? Now there's a solution!"

Besides, most churches would welcome a dog...best of all worlds.

If he wants to be a dog I say let him. It's a free country after all and it's no skin off my nose. Of course, dogs can't vote or own property or enter into contracts...

Unless he's a man that thinks he's a dog, that thinks he's a man.

This guy just like all other dogs should be allowed to run naked at the local dog park.

Watch out that another dog don't bite you.

Wouldn't want to be in that park when he has to answer the call of nature.

Underrated post unsurprisingly ignored.
